Dear Board and others,
Please see the attached letters. These letters reflect our feelings on the comprehensive plan regarding our property at 401 Mulberry Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA.
My sister and I will be in attendance to discuss it further.
Thank you for your attention to this.
Requests 401 Mulberry Drive "be shown as I-2 on your Future Land Use Map as that is appropriate Zoning for this property."

As the 7/18/2019 plan illustrates his parcel as light purple (light industrial) which is consistent with his 2018 letter request, it appears to AJ and I that, in his request letter of August 2019, that he wants to be dark purple (heavy industrial). His specific letter request is to be zoned I-2. As we are not addressing zoning requests at this time, maybe he is reflecting on the parcels to his west are dark purple. If he is speaking of something different, I’m not certain. I’m not sure why he included his 2018 letter as the change to industrial was made. He does back up against residential, hence why the light industrial designation was also made.

Here is a letter we would like to have given to the supervisors for Mondays meeting.
Please advise if this is ok.
"As the property owners of the Yorlets farm, we are requesting the Comprehensive Plan future land use map show our property is I-2."
"Prior to John sitting on the Planning Commission, he had the vision to have his farm zoned for industry. His plan for the farm was to eventually sell and have the money for his children and grandchildren."
"The I-2 zoning is also desirable in this area due to the fact that it is very close to the labor market. The close proximity to work allows for a positive work life balance as desired in the proposed Comprehensive plan. The [sic] would substantially increase the tax base for the township with minimal input cost to the township. For the above discussed reasons we feel this is the most logical and appropriate use for this parcel."
